Actress Tanjin Nahaar Tisha has been served a legal notice over allegations that she shared a complainant’s photographs without permission and circulated false and misleading information about her on social media.

The notice was sent on Wednesday by Sanaya Anam Ayafikah Chowdhury through Supreme Court lawyer Shubhra Sinha Roy, who confirmed the development.

According to the notice, the complainant has filed two separate cases against Tisha at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court in Dhaka and an executive magistrate’s court. Both cases are currently pending.

The notice alleges that on October 27, Tisha used her verified Facebook page, Tanjin Tisha, to share objectionable photographs of the complainant and spread inaccurate information about her. It also accuses the actress of presenting misleading information to the media.

The legal notice further claims that on November 7, 2025, Tisha threatened the complainant through Facebook Messenger, saying she would upload the complainant’s photographs if she became famous.

The complainant alleges that Tisha subsequently shared her photographs on Facebook, damaging her reputation.

The notice also takes issue with a Facebook post in which Tisha allegedly questioned the relationship between the complainant and another woman, referring to them as sisters and questioning why the two were united in their alleged hostility.

According to the complainant, the two women are not sisters. The notice identifies one as a fashion designer and the other as a female entrepreneur, adding that their professional acquaintance was allegedly portrayed in a misleading and defamatory manner.

The notice further alleges that Tisha published photographs of two minors in her Facebook post without obtaining permission from the complainant or the children’s families.

It claims that the publication violated the Cyber Security Act, 2023.

The allegations outlined in the legal notice have not been independently verified. The notice itself does not establish liability, and the cases mentioned remain pending.
